Grow your Strengthening Partnerships: C-WINS Advocacy Visit to the National Orientation Agency (NOA)
On December 16th, 2024, the Centre for Well-being and Integrated Nutrition Solutions (C-WINS) conducted an advocacy visit to the National Orientation Agency (NOA). This strategic engagement aims to foster collaboration to ensure accurate information reaches citizens about the life-saving Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine.
During the visit, discussions focused on strategies to combat misinformation and disinformation about the MR vaccine. Ways to enhance public understanding of government policies and actions and drive positive change in values and behaviors towards vaccine acceptance.
Areas of Partnership
C-WINS and NOA identified key areas of collaboration to amplify the impact of the advocacy campaign:
• Strategic public education and advocacy through NOA platforms.
• Town hall meetings in high-risk Local Government Areas (LGAs).
• Integrated messaging across government agencies.
• Leveraging NOA’s digitization initiatives like content creation and social media outreach.
As a key partner in the MR vaccine introduction advocacy C-WINS and NOA will be advocating to stakeholders, communities, and media to support our advocacy effort.
