At C-WINS, on 28^th January 2025 we were honored to welcome the dynamic leaders of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) for an impactful advocacy meeting on the introduction of the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine.

• Inspiring Words from WOWICAN: Dr. Elizabeth Akinadewo, National Chairperson of WOWICAN, emphasized the role of women in protecting their families, saying:
• “As women, if our children are sick, we are sick. That is why we will ensure every child gets the MR vaccine. We are committed to supporting the MR advocacy.”
• Collaborative Action: Discussions focused on strategies to amplify awareness, mobilize resources, and drive vaccination uptake in hard-to-reach areas.
